Juiced 2: HIN evolves the current street racing scene, letting players experience the culture of the real-life HIN tour, the nation's largest lifestyle custom car show in an intense racing experience. Body deformation, particle effects (like smoke and fire), sparks, tire marks on the road, and wall marks ensure that it looks as good as it plays.
Thirty-five active drivers with their respective cars (complete with sponsors) are available to rip around 14 different tracks-including night races and (in a NASCAR game first) Daytona. Gone are the days of one-dimensional AI, thanks to independent artificial intelligence routines geared towards each racer's personality-older drivers will wisely hold back until key moments, while the rookies and speed demons will be more prone to charging recklessly into turns. With the advanced power of the Emotion Engine, the designers for NASCAR 2001 have been able to duplicate key driving points and strategies of some of the biggest names in the racing field.
Scroll - Same as above, except this one's red icon is not used anywhere else.Easily the most ambitious NASCAR game to date on any platform, NASCAR 2001 has been designed from the ground up with completely original programming code that takes advantage of the power of the PlayStation 2.Seems to just be a placefiller, as it uses the standard scroll icon. Scroll - Another item that has no effect.Either this is how maps were viewed before the developers changed it to a menu option instead, or it's a hidden effect used when picking up maps in unfamiliar lands. Map - Can be equipped and used as an item, but has no effect.Potion of Speed - Temporarily puts the target in Haste status.Potion of Giant Strength - Presumably, this item temporarily increases the target's strength.Potion of Poison - A simple one-use item that poisons the target. The Rings of Fire Resistance are permanent and only really needed in one place in the game, so this potion is redundant. Potion of Fire Resistance - A one-shot potion that makes the target immune to fire temporarily. It won't even affect enemies that are in range. Can be used outside, and does about 25 damage to anything in range, but can also only target allies. Horn of Blasting - Another broken infinite-use attack item.It does about 25 damage but can only target the user, making it entirely worthless. Drums of Panic - An infinite-use attack item that only works inside dungeons. Its icon is the same as the Medallion, further suggesting that it wasn't finished. Ring of Weakness - Again unknown if it actually does anything, although its name suggests it's a cursed item which would make the wearer weaker. Its icon is the same as the Ring of Regeneration. Probably scrapped because it just wouldn't work having only one of four characters with such an ability.
